On Saturday I got to do some fun stuff at the CIT Wrestling Tournament Championships in Morro Bay. To tell you the truth it was the first wrestling thing I've ever been to. I shot interviews of the finalists and helped run the live video for the matches. We showed their interviews right before each championship bout, and had the live video up on a couple projected screens for each side of the gym. Here are a couple frames from the interviews. These guys are both locals who won.

Wet & Cold

It has been rainy around here lately. It hailed really good for a couple minutes today too. Liam hit the streets in his cold gear.

In the zone

Just thought I should show you what I see sometimes when I turn around. This is my cute wife Mindy smiling and working on something. She might be smiling because Liam is taking a nap - you can actually see him if you look really hard at our baby monitor there. By the way, this is where you might expect to sit if you come visit me in my little work zone...

At the Landfill

Today was good, I was at the landfill. Blue Ridge Services is a company that makes landfill safety videos and I have been associated with them for something like 7 years. I used to do all the shooting and editing for them and now I go shoot about once a month for them. Anyways, I got to use my toys again so I thought I would put up a frame from today. By the way, this is Maria.

New stuff

I got some new stuff today. Very excited about it. Basically now I can use my 35mm lenses on my video camera. It makes it look kinda freaky but it is good. I can't wait to put this to use and experiment...

Energy Voyager Interviews

For the past couple months I have been a part of an interview project for a company called Energy Voyager. These are audio interviews, I am the sound technician and editor for them. What's awesome is that I have gotten to meet some pretty incredible people. They're inventers, doctors, researchers, pioneers in their fields - and they are a part of Energy Voyager's Brain Trust, which means they will be collaborating with each other to address the Energy needs of the world. It's interesting stuff, and it's an ongoing project so I am excited about it.

Maybe I can blog in 2008

Okay I am going to turn over a new leaf in 2008. The blog leaf. I tried in 07 and failed horribly. But I think it is important so I'll try again, and it's a new year so what the heck.

To start off the year I'll introduce Liam. This week he started doing rollercoaster hands when it gets crazy in the car. He's a year and a half and one of the best things I have going.
