Steve Gibby's RED camera

Today I got to hang out with Steve Gibby and his RED camera. I won't geek out too hard on this but the camera does rule and I am glad I got to check it out and I hope to again soon. He's got a freaky old Canon 150-600 Zoom lens on it here...freaky but really good.

We went down to Rincon. The day was perfect and the waves were good. In fact there were tons of pros out including Kelly Slater, who is like world champion alot of times. These shots are him. By the way these frames are not from the RED camera, they are from my still camera.

Justin is a long time friend and I'm stoked to see him marry a completely awesome girl like Amy. I got to use some of my new stuff and experiment on them a little.

Wrestling

On Saturday I got to do some fun stuff at the CIT Wrestling Tournament Championships in Morro Bay. To tell you the truth it was the first wrestling thing I've ever been to. I shot interviews of the finalists and helped run the live video for the matches. We showed their interviews right before each championship bout, and had the live video up on a couple projected screens for each side of the gym. Here are a couple frames from the interviews. These guys are both locals who won.

Wet & Cold

It has been rainy around here lately. It hailed really good for a couple minutes today too. Liam hit the streets in his cold gear.

Just thought I should show you what I see sometimes when I turn around. This is my cute wife Mindy smiling and working on something. She might be smiling because Liam is taking a nap - you can actually see him if you look really hard at our baby monitor there. By the way, this is where you might expect to sit if you come visit me in my little work zone...
